River Monsters Defeat the Bluegrass Warhorses 32-23

The Warhorses, Doug Daniel, converts on a 31 yard field goal in the opening seconds of the fourth quarter to cut the River Monsters lead to 18-13.

The very next position for the River Monsters Kendall Owens runs for a 5 yard touchdown to extend the River Monsters lead to 25-13.

The Warhorses come right back down the field and answer the call with a four yard touchdown run by Mike Wolfork.

The River Monsters keep the ball on the ground an burn the clock. The combination of  Owens and Kyle James on quarterback draws keep the Warhorses offensive off the field.

Owens first runs into a wall of Warhorse defenders then bounces out to the left and runs into the end zone for a two yard touchdown run. River Monsters extend the lead to 32-23 with 1:05 to play in the game.

The first play from the line of scrimmage for the Warhorses is picked off by T.J. Harris for his third interception of the game. David Boyd threw the ball down field and Harris picked it off at the River Monster 2 yard line.

From their own end zone, Kyle James with the River Monsters some breathing room with a 25 yard gain and seals the deal for the River Monsters.
